Drunk 20-year-old woman walks into river in the dead of night and disappears

Police are desperately trying to locate the body of a young woman, who walked into a river under the influence of alcohol, and disappeared, police in the United Kingdom said.

Police divers have expanded their search for Megan Roberts a week after she disappeared at the end of a night out with friends in York.

The 20-year-old student of York St. John University, entered the River Ouse under the influence of alcohol.

Police said that there is nothing to suggest foul play was a factor in her disappearance.

Roberts of Wether by, West Yorkshire, was last seen on surveillance video at 2:20 a.m. on Thursday, January 23, while leaving the Popworld nightclub with friends. They had been drinking for several hours.
