Getting Worse For PDP? Abubakar Atiku Also Decamps

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, today announced he has left the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP for All Progressives Congress, APC. He also stated that, he will be handling over his resignation letter tomorrow, Monday, 3^rd of February, 2014. According to him, PDP has lost touch with Nigerians, and that is one of the major reasons he left the party.

“We have, therefore, concluded that that party cannot be redeemed. In short the PDP has abandoned Nigerians, the very people who gave it life and many electoral victories,” he said.

This will be the second time the former vice president will leave PDP for another party. He once left in 2006 for ACN now APC and returned back in 2009 after Obasanjo left office.
